Lacey Duvalle
Do you remember your 18th birthday? Lacey Duvalle does, vividly. That's the day she was "discovered;" the day she met her former manager. She was selling young women's clothing (ever wonder where she got her stage name, "Lacey?") in a mall in the San Fernando valley when she was approached by two people. One said she could make a lot of money modeling but the clincher was the girl with him - Obsession. Lacey Duvalle recognized her from a video she had seen just a week or two before. The next day she went to his office, got all the details and the day after that she filmed her first scene. Talk about a career that got off to a flying start! Just a few months later, however, she would get the rug pulled out from under her by the folks at Playboy. She had been photographed for a layout for the March 2000 issue when someone at Playboy became aware of her porn career. How they could not have known previously is a mystery since the photos that brought her to their attention in the first place were from a box cover shoot for a Snoop Dogg porn video. Calls were made. Questions were asked. Lacey Duvalle did not become "Miss March" after all. Breaking an unwritten Playboy "law" - that no girl who has done porn could be a Playboy Model, she appeared in Playboy just the same. Two years later, in the March 2002 issue she would be featured alongside Jenna Jameson, Asia Carrera and Tera Patrick in their "10 Hottest Women in Porn" pictorial. In the meantime Lacey's first contract with Video Team had expired. She freelanced for a while, making a string of videos for Anabolic, Elegant Angel and the now-defunct Odyssey. She did well but not so well that she did not jump at the chance for a second round with Video Team. The latest of her 14 Video Team titles are "Sista 16" and "Sole Sistas 2." Currently Lacey is devoting all of her time to her beautiful baby girl Chloe.
