Jeanna Fine
It is not unusual for porn stars to take some time off and return with a renewed commitment. It is unusual to do it twice. Phase 1 of Jeanna Fine's career began in 1986 and lasted three years. One of her few videos from then - she only made 50 or so, none of them blockbusters - "Down Under" has been re-released on DVD by Classic X and is worth seeing for its historical value. Check out the peroxide blonde punk version of Jeanna. Phase 2 began with her return in 1990 with a much more refined look and passion. With her career on the rise she retired a second time in 1992 in order to devote herself to her relationship with Sikki "Edward Penishands" Nixx. Rumor has it that they went to the altar but the minister never arrived. That escapade ended in 1994 paving the way for her next comeback. And come back she did - with a vengence. The Phase 3 Jeanna Fine arrived with short hair, a slightly fuller figure - and free of heroin. After the end of the Sikki Nixx affair she kicked the habit, met and married her husband, made a baby and wet her appetite. Four months after her son was born she walked into Russ Hampshire's office at VCA, parked her mini-skirted ass on his lap and said "I'm ready." Russ took her straight to Michael Ninn who hired her for "Latex." The phone hasn't stopped ringing since. The person who said "third time's the charm" was right. She has won no less than a dozen major awards including the X-Rated Critic's Organization's "Performer of the Year" and has been inducted into the AVN, XRCO and Legends of Erotica Halls of Fame. The videos she has won awards for are too numerous to list here but include "Steal Breeze," "Brandy and Alexander," "Hothouse Rose" and "Skin Hunger." We can recommend Wicked's "Dear Diary" and Video Team's "Edward Penishands" and "No Man's Land Legends." She is currently on tour as a feature dancer and writes a sex advice column for Hustler. Speaking of feature dancing, the National Enquirer once reported that she had been seen returning to the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose in the company of Andre Agassi and his coach who also had rooms at the same hotel. Seems that she was in town for an engagement at the Pink Poodle and he for the Sybase Open. As the story goes, Andre and his coach caught Jeanna Fine's "Showgirls" performance at the Poodle, returned to the hotel together and asked the concierge to procure some "sweet nothings" from Victoria's Secret. Andre Agassi was dating Brooke Shields at the time; Jeanna reports that she was ordered by Brooke Shields' attorneys to not discuss the incident.
